2 Unit Descriptions - RF Path
This chapter provides detailed descriptions of the Corning ONE™ solution components. The descriptions are organized
according to RF and Digital path headend and remote end components. This includes port and LED interface descriptions.
2.1 RF Path - Headend Components
Corning ONE RF Path coverage solution includes the following headend elements:
• HEU – Headend Unit
• OIU – Optical Interface Unit
• IHU – Integrated Headend Unit (IHU performs both HEU and OIU functions)
