2. Insta lling the e vo Drive Syste m
Ve hic le Pre pa ra tio n
The evoDrive system requires t he following:
9 Two in- vehicle DC accessory j acks, each fused for
20 A – one for t he not ebook PC and t he ot her for
t he Mobile Collect or unit .
9 A secure m ount for t he Mobile Collect or unit – i.e.
a pedest al m ount wit h straps or clips
9 A secure m ount for t he not ebook PC
Syste m O rie nta tio n
The evoDrive system m ust be installed in a m anner t hat
does not block t he flow of air from t he cooling fans. I t
m ust also be installed so t hat t he driver can easily view
and reach t he evoDrive not ebook PC.
Note: The driver m ust not at t em pt syst em interaction
while t he vehicle is in m ot ion. The evoDrive system is
int ended t o be int eract ed wit h only while the vehicle is
parked.
