When removing and replacing the protective caps:
• Grasp the microphone low on the boom, close to
the capsule.
• Hold the protective cap by the sides and pull
straight off to remove.
• To replace the protective cap, position the cap,
hold the sides and press straight on firmly.
• Never touch the sides or top of an uncapped mic
element. Do not let your fingers slide across the
element when removing the cap.
