5. Voice Active
• The recording pauses automatically when there is no sound input, and the recording
resumes when a sound is input. This feature allows you to save memory.
• You can choose a number between 0 and 10. A smaller value gives more sensitivity (to
the mic). If this value is set too high compared to the surrounding noise, the sensitivity
of iAUDIO drops, causing it to remain in ‘recording standby’ status. Therefore, be sure
to set this value to 0 (Off) when recording for an important occasion.
• Select ‘Voice Active’ and press the ‘Menu’ button. Then choose a value with the ‘+’
and ‘-’ buttons.
6. Line Volume
• This adjusts the volume level of the sound input (recording level) from the direct
encoding jack.
• You can choose a level between 1 and 10. The higher the value, the higher the
recording level.
• Select ‘Line Volume’ and press the ‘Menu’ button. Then choose a value with the ‘+’
and ‘-’ buttons.
7. Auto Sync
• This is the feature to automatically detect the sound input from the ‘Line-in’ jack and
recognize blanks between tracks to save the tracks separately as individual les.
• You can choose a number between 0 and 8. 0 indicates the feature is off. The higher
value recognizes the longer blanks between tracks.
• The above numbers do not indicate seconds, but a general indication of the level by
number.
• Select ‘Auto Sync’ and press the ‘Menu’ button. Then choose a value with the ‘+’ and
‘-’ buttons.
