- Beforeinstallingbuilt‐insideburnersontoacart,copyallproductinformationsuchasmodelnumber,serial
numberandtypeofsideburner(e.g.naturalgasorLP)andstoreinformationinasafeplace.
- If theside burner is installed by a professional installer or technician, be sure that he or she shows you
whereyourgassupplyshut‐offislocated.Allgaslinesmusthave a shut‐off that is readily and easily
accessible.Ifyousmellgas,checkforgasleaksimmediately.Checkonly witha soap and water solution.
Nevercheckforgasleakswithanopenflame.

LOCATIONOFYOURSIDEBURNER:
LocatethesideburneronlyOUTSIDEinawell‐ventilatedarea.Neverlocatethesideburnerinabuilding,garage,
breezeway,shedorothersuchenclosedareaswithoutanapprovedventilationsystem.Wheninuse,theside
burnerwillgeneratealotofsmoke.Wheninstallingyoursideburner,selectanoutdoorlocationthatwillensure
thereisadequateareaforthesmoketodissipateINORDERTOAVOID INHALATION OF POTENTIALLY TOXIC
FUMES.
VentilationRequirementsforProperOperationofyourCoyoteSideburner
Ventilationforagassideburnerisabsolutelymandatorytoensurethatyoursideburnerperformsas
intendedand to ensure the safety of you, your family, and guests. Proper ventilation is necessary to
allowheatinsideyoursideburnertoescapeandalsotoallowanygasthathasleakedfromatankor
connection to escape before a buildup of such gas can occur and possibly ignite.

causeariskofbodilyinjuryordeath.
HighElevationInstallationandUse
CoyoteSide burners are designed to operatemostefficientlyat0‐2000 feetabovesea level.From2000‐4000 feet
abovesealevelyouwillnotnoticeanysubstantialdecreaseinyourheat,althoughmoregasiscombustingwithinthe
burnersdue to less oxygen.Above 4000 feet, you may experiencelonger cooking timeson your side burner than
experiencedatsealevel. Thisisduetotheair/fuelmixturetakingplacewithintheburners.Ifyouhavequestionsor
