NaturalGasSupply and Connection
1. Makesureallburnervalvesareinthe“OFF”position
2. AllNGunitsneedtohavearegulatorandshut‐offvalveonthesupplyline.
3. AllPipethreadsneedtohaveproper,gasrated,outdoorratedthreadsealant.Flareendsdonotneedor
utilizepipesealant.
4. YourNGCoyotesideburnercomeswitha½”regulator,alongwitha18”blackhose.
a) Youneedtosealtheregulatortothehoseusingyourpipesealant.
b) Thenattachtheflareendtoyourmanifoldline,withnopipesealant.
c) Next,attachyournextconnectionhose(notincluded)totheothersideoftheNGregulator(itisalso
½”MIP)
i. Wesuggestusing½”stainlesssteelcorrugatedhosesforallNGGrills
ii. Makesurethatyoupurchaseahoseofadequatelengthandcapacityfortheintendedapplication.
d) Connecttheotherendofthishose,toyourshutoffvalve
i. Dependingonyourchoiceofhoseandshut‐off,thenipplegoingintotheshut‐offvalvemayvary.
e) Testallconnectionsforleakswithasoapandwatersolution.
5. Ifyouarealsousingagrillonthesamesupplyline,thenyouwillneedtoaddintheappropriateteeforyour
connections.
a) YoucanutilizeoneregulatortooperatetheGrillandSideBurnerboth,aslongasitisplacedbefore
thetee.
b) Youwillalsowanttoverifyyourgaspressureisgreatenoughtooperatebothpiecesofequipment
fromthesamesupplyline.
HighElevationInstallationandUse
Coyote Side burnersare designed tooperate most efficiently at 0‐2000feet above sealevel.From 2000‐4000 feet
abovesealevelyouwillnotnoticeanysubstantialdecreas einyourheat,althoughmoregasiscombu stingwithinthe
burnersduetolessoxygen.Above4000feet,youmayexperiencealittlelongercookingtimeonyourgrillth anyou
wouldexperienceatsealeve l.Butagain, thisisjustduetotheair/fuelmixturetaking placewithintheburners.Ifany
problemsorconcernsexistaboutyourlocationorelevation,pleasecontactCoyoteCustomerServiceforassistance.
