ENSURINGPROPERCOMBUSTIONAIRANDCOOLINGAIRFLOW
Yo u mustmaintainproperairflowforyourside burner to perform as it was designed. If airflow is blocked,
overheating andpoorcombustionwillresult.Makesurenottoblockthe 1"frontairinlet alongthebottomof
thefaceormorethan75%ofthesupportgridsurface
withpansorgriddles.
ForBuilt‐inInstallations
A side burner is designed for easy installation into masonry enclosures. For non‐c ombustible applications, the
sideburnerdropsintotheopening(asshownincut‐outdetail‐Fig.A)aboveorbelowdependingonspace,and
hangsfromitscountertoptrim.Adeckisnotrequiredtosupportitfromthebottom.
Twoventilation holes, of atleast20 sq inches in size, mustbe present tohelp releaseany gas froma
leak.
AsPropaneisheavierthanair,locateyourventsatthetankvalveheightorlower
Thedeckledgesandcountershouldbeflatandlevelinreferencetothefloor.
LPTANKSTORAGEAREAMUST BEISOLATEDFROMSIDEBURNERANDVENTED.
