1) Determine lower vs upper post.
The lower post will have the bottom
2 holes higher than the upper post
(this offset allows the bottom rail to
be parallel to the angle of the stairs).
2) Drop in base plate cover (this will
only be held by gravity)
3) Screw on middle rail brackets.
3a) Lower post should have middle
rails’ brackets face upward.
3b) Upper post should have middle
rails’ brackets face downward.
Note: Middle rail brackets are
smaller than post brackets.
 Assemble Top Rail
1) Insert side plastic end caps.
2) Screw on post brackets. (It doesn’t matter
which direction as long as they both face
the same direction.)

Install Anchor Bolt
Install anchor bolts, position post baseplate
over the anchor bolts, and tighten washer and
nut over baseplate. (The post baseplate cover
will sit on top of the anchor bolts by gravity)
Note: Once anchor bolt are inserted into the
holes, they cannot be pulled out.
Install the middle pickets & secure the top
middle rail. Screw in the self-drilling screws into
the end of the middle rails and post through the
holes on the brackets.
Note: Angles cannot be adjusted after this step
without having to make new holes.
