- Please read carefully before operating.
- Warning! Use under the direct supervision of an adult.
- Keep the operation manual and display box for reference.
- Use 5 AA Alkaline (1.5 V) not included & 1- 9V battery not included.
- 6.0 V rechargeable battery pack can also be used for this item.
- Operating range is up to 30 feet. Subject to outside radio interference.
TRANSMITTER BATTERY INSTALLATION
Caution when using batteries:
- Install batteries making sure that the + and - poles of the batteries are
positioned correctly.
- Make sure the transmitter & vehicle on/off switch is in the off position when
installing batteries.
- Remove all batteries from the vehicle and the transmitter after playing.
1) Remove battery door in back of transmitter.
2) Insert 9 volt battery into compartment.
3) Replace battery door.
VEHICLE BATTERY INSTALLATION
- Remove battery door from the underside of the vehicle with screwdriver.
- Insert 5 AA batteries or 1- 6.0 volt rechargeable battery.
- Replace battery door.
- Do not mix old and new batteries.
- Avoid using alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc), or rechargeable (nickel-
cadmium) batteries.
CAUTION
- Avoid combined use of charged Ni-Cd and discharged Ni-CD batteries.
- Do not mix old and new batteries.
- Avoid using alkaline batteries and Ni-Cd batteries together.
Three major causes of vehicle malfunction:
1. Weak batteries
2. Incorrect battery installation
