5. Blade Angle (Bevel)
a_A single bevel lock handle is used in angular
positioning and indexing of the motor, to
provide the desired saw blade (bevel) angle.
boThe bevel lock handle controls the angular
position of the motor with respect to horizontal..

The bevel lock handle automatically indexes
the motor at 0°, 45° and 90° . To index the
blade, push the bevel lock handle to the far
right while positioning the blade, then release
the lock handle.. At any position other than the
indexing points, the pin does not engage.
The bevel lock handle also locks the motor to
the yoke when the motor is in any position.
Pull lever to right to release and push to left to
lock. _--
Power Switch and Key
To turn switch on, insert key into switch lock.

b. To turn switch on, insert finger under end of
switch lever and pull end out

THE KEY AND KEEP IT IN A SAFE PLACE.
TO REMOVE KEY, HOLD THUMB ON END
OF [.EVER TO KEEP SWITCH IN "OFF"
POSITION AND PULL KEY STRAIGHT OUT.

7. Accessory Shaft
Use only the following recommended acces-
sories: Drill chuck, Sanding drum, and Router
adapter.
CAUTION: The sawblade, dado, or cutting tool
must be removed from the saw arbor before
using the accessory shaft, NEVER operate the
saw with cutting tools (including sanding acces-
sories) installed on both ends of the saw arbor.
