basic band saw/sander BASIC BAND SAW/SANDER operation OPERATION A band saw is basically a "curve cutting" machine. It differs from a saw in two respects. It is capable of cutting thicker material and it cuts faster. Unlike a saw, it is not capable of doing inside cutting. Your Craftsman Band Saw/Sander is not only capable of the usual band saw operations, but it can be converted into a sander as well. You can finish wood, certain compositions and plastics and non-ferrous metals. SAWING 3.
