CARE OF YOUR OPENER
Limitandforceadjustments:
Weather conditions may cause some
minor changes in door operation
requiring some re-adjustments,
particularly during the first year of
operation.
Pages27 and 28 refer to the limit and
force adjustments. Only a screwdriver
is required. Follow the instructions
carefully.
Repeatthe safetyreversetest

any adjustmentof limits or force.

NEVERallow small children near batteries.
If battery is swallowed, immediately notify doctor.
To reduce risk of fire, explosion or chemical burn:
ReplaceONLYwith 3V2032 coin batteries.
DONOTrecharge,disassemble, heat above 212° F(100° C)
or incinerate.
The lithium battery should
produce power for up to 5 years.
To replace battery, use the visor
clip or screwdriver bladeto pry
open the caseas shown. Insert
battery positive side up (+).
Dispose of old battery properly.

Replacethe battery with only 3V2032 coin cell batteries.

Oncea Month
Manuallyoperate door. If it is unbalanced or binding, call a
trained door systems technician.
Checkto be sure door opens & closes fully. Adjust limits and/or
force if necessary.(Seepages 27 and 28.)
Repeatthe safety reversetest. Make any necessary
adjustments. (SeeAdjustment Step 3.)
Twicea Year
Checkchain tension. Disconnecttrolley first. Adjust if necessary
(Seepage11).
Oncea Year
Oildoor rollers, bearings and hinges.The opener does not
require additional lubrication. Do not greasethe door tracks.
Every Threeto Four Years
Usea rag to wipe awaythe existing grease from the garage
door opener rail. Reapplya small layer of white lithium grease
to the rail.
