B. Stop Engine
1. Move equipment control, if present (see manufacturer's
instructions)engine control lever or ignitionswitchto
=STOP"or "OFF" position.
2. Remove ignitionkey, ifpresent (see manufacturer's
instructions).
NOTE
Removing key willreduce the possibility of unauthorized
staffing of the engine while equipment is not in use.
_ NEVER store the engine with fuel in
_ the fuel tank insidea building with
potentialsources ofignitionsuch as hotwater and space
heaters,clothesdryers, electricmotors,etc.
C. After Engine is Stopped
_? To prevent possible freeze-up of
engine controlsfollowinstructions
listedbelow.
1. Wipe all snow and moisturefrom enginearea ofcontrol
lever and choke.

Move equipment control, if present (see manufacturer's
instructions)engine controllever or ignitionswitchback
and forth several times and leave controlin =STOP" or
"OFF" position.
Move engine choke back and forth several times and
leave inthe =Full_ position.See Figure 16.
