GENERAL RECOMMENDATIONS DECK CARE The undersideof mowerdeck shouldbe cleanedafter eachuseas Alwaysobservesafetyruleswhenperforming anytype of maintenance. grass clippings,leaves,dirt and otherdebriswill accumulate.This accumulationof grassclippings,etc., is undesirableas it will promote rustand corrosion. BLADE CARE Blade Sharpening IMPORTANT:If any metalseparationispresent,replacethe blades with new ones. Whenremovingthe cuttingbladefor sharpeningor replacement, protectyour handswith a pair of heavy glovesor use a heavyrag to hold the blade.Be certainto stop motorand removekey. Periodicallyinspectthe bladeadapterfor cracks,especiallyif you strikea foreignobject.Replacewhen necessary.Followthe steps belowfor bladeservice.
RESETTING CiRCUiT BREAKER RESET BUTTON Ifthe circuitbreakerreset buttonpopsout shortlyafter resetting: 1. This mowerisequippedwith an circuit breakerresetbutton to prevent overheatingdamageto the motor. . If thecircuit breakerresetbutton popsout: 1. 3. PREPARING THE LAWN MOWER Thefollowingstepsshouldbe takento prepareyourlawnmowerfor storage: • Lubricatemowerthoroughlyas describedin the lubrication instructions. • Removeany buildupof grassand leaveson or aroundthe motor cover(do notuse water).Wipethe mowercleanwith a dry cloth. If debris is allowedto build up on the undersideof the unit, tilt the mowerand scrapeit cleanwith a suitabletool (makecertainthe key is removed). Storemowerfully charged.
