REMOVING THE UNiT FROM THE CARTON

1. Cutthe cornersof thecartonandlaythe sidesflaton the ground.

Removeall packinginserts.

2. Movethe mowerandgrasscatcheroutof the carton.

3. Makecertainthe cartonhas beencompletelyemptiedbefore

discardingit.

ASSEMBLING THE HANDLE

1. Removeany packingmaterialwhichmaybebetweenupperand

lowerhandles.

2. Looseneachhandknobfoundon theinsideof the upperhandle.

3. Gentlylift andpivotthe upperhandleintothe operatingposition

as showninFigure1.

6. Tightenstarknobssecuringlowerhandleto handlebrackets.See

Figure2. Makecertainthe lowerhandleis seatedsecurelyinto

the handlemountingbrackets.

1. Liftreardischargedoor.

2. Removemulchingbaffle.SeeFigure3.

4. Removestarknobsfromhandlemountingbracketsand secure

the lowerhandleonto the handlebracketsby placingthe lower

holeof the lowerhandleontothe pinsof the handlebrackets.

5. Securethe upperhandleandlowerhandlebytighteningthe

handknobs. Eachcarriagebolt mustbeseatedproperlyintothe

squareholefoundinthe plasticconnector.
