III - Pre-heating relay

The engine may be equipped with either a hand-operated pre-heating relay, or an

automatic one. In the latter case, the starter switch does not show a pre-heating

position.

Dependent on the type of pre-heating relay, the panel must be adjusted to it. Please

see picture below for the switch setting.

The standard factory setting is ‘I’ (manual pre-heating, switch

depressed).

Only modify the setting if you are absolutely sure that the engine is

provided with an automatic pre-heating relay and the correct type of

starter switch.
