the saw,check the following adjustments before you
beginusingsaw, Make any readjust_ants thatare
necessaryand per_odic_l_check the parts alignment
to make surethat the saw is cuffingaccurately.

• If the saw arm does not raiseby Itselfor if there Is play
inthe pivot.ioints,have sew repairedat yournearest
ServiceCenter.
BEVEL PIVOT ADJUSTMENT
• The compound mitersaw shouldbeveJeasilybyloos-
eningthe bevel lock knob and tiltingthe saw arm to the
left,
• If movementis tightor if thereis play in the pivot,have
saw repairedby a qualifiedservice technicianat your
nearestSearsService Centerto avoid dskof personal
injury,
