celeratedwear and possibleprematurefailurewhen they
are usedon fiberglassboats, sports cars, wallboard,
spacklingcompounds, or piaster.The chips and gdndings
from thesematerials are highlyabrasiveto electrictool
partssuchas bearfngs,brushes, commutators,etc. Con-
sequently,it is not recommended that this toolbe used
for extendedwork on anyfiberglass material,wallboard,
specklingcompounds, or piaster.Duringany use on these
matedais it [s extrsmely importantthat the tool is cleaned
frequentlyby blowingwith an air jet.
LUBRICATION
All ofthe bearingsIn this tool are lubricatedwith a suffi-
cient amount ot highgrade lubricantfor the life ofthe unit
under normaloperatingconditions.Therefore,no further
lubricationIs required.

BRUSH REPLACEMENT

Yoursaw has externally accessible brushassembliesthat
shouldbe periodicallychecked forwear.
Proceed as follow,, when replacement is required:
Unplugthe saw,

Remove brushcap with a screwdriver.Brush assembly
Is springloadedand will pop out when youremove
brushcap.
Remove brush assembly.
Check forwear. Replaceboth brusheswhen either has
less than 1/4 in._engthof ca,,bonremaining.Do not
replaceone sidewithoutreplacingthe other,
Reassembleusingnew brushassemblies.Make sure
curvatureof brushm_tchas curvatureofmotorand
that brushmovesfreely in brushtube.
Make sure brush cap is odentedcorrectly(straight}and
repLace.
