Your drillisequipped witha lock-onfeature, whichis
convenientwhen continuousdrillingfor extended
periodsof time is required,To lock-on,depressthe
switchtdgger, push inand holdthe lock-onbutton
locatedon the side of the handle,then release switch
trigger. Release lock-onbuttonand your ddllwill
continuerunning.
To releasethe lock,depress the switch tdggerand
release.
Ifyou have the lock-onfeature engaged dudng usa and
yourdrill becomes disconnectedfrom power supply,
disengagethe lock-onfeature immediately.

Your new drillhas a keylesschuck,As the name
implies,you can handtighten or release drillbit inthe
chuckjaws. Grasp and holdthe collarof the chuckwith
one hand. Rotate the chuck body withyour otherhand,
The arrows showninfigure 3 indicatewhich directionto
rotatethe chuck body in orderto GRIP (tighten)or
RELEASE (unlock)the drillbit.

Your elsotdcddll hasthe feature ofbeing reversible,
The directionofchuck rotationiscontrolled by a lever
locatedabove the switch trigger.With your drillheldin
normaloperating position,the directionof rotationlever
shouldbe positioned to the leftofthe switch for ddlling,
The ddlldirectionis reversedwhenthe lever is to the
rightofthe switch.
The designofthe switch will nat permit changingthe
directionofrotationwhilethe ddll isrunning,Release
the switch triggerand allowthe drillto stop before
changingits direction.
Note: Your ddllwill notrun unlessthe switch lever is
pushedfullyto the left or right.
