TURN POWER ON-OFFWHEN USING AS ATOP HANDLE GRIP SABRE SAW (Fig. 6)
1.Connectthepowercordof your saw
toa standardhouseholdpower outlet. Fig, 6
2. Startthetoolby squeezingthe "ON-OFF"
triggerswitch(C) (Fig. 6).
3. Release thetriggerswitchtostop the tool.
4. Ifyou pressin on eithersideof the lock-on
button(locatedon both sidesofthe top
handle (D) whilethetriggerswitchis
depressed,thetriggerswitchremains in
the "locked-on"operatingposition. This
feature isconvenientforcontinuous
sawingapplications.
5.The lock-onbuttonallowsthe operatorto
keepthe sabre saw motor runningwithout
continuouslyholdingthetriggerswitch.
6.To releasethe lock-onbutton,press and release the triggerswitch.

cannotbe released.
NOTE: Determinethe optimumspeed forcuttingyourworkplaceby making a trial cut in a
scrap piece of material.Your experiencewilldeterminethe best resultsfora particular
application. However, as a general rule, use slower speed for harder, denser materials
and faster speed for soft materials.
ADJUSTING THE CUTTING SPEED WITH THE VARIABLE SPEED DIAL (Fig. 7)
The variablespeed featureof thissabre saw
enhancesthecuttingperformanceofyoursaw
and savesthe blade from unduewear.
1. The variablespeed dialis usedto adjust
the speedof the blade.
2.Turnthe dial to increaseor decrease the
speed of the blade (Fig. 7).
3. Position'1' selectstheslowestblade speed,
position'6' selectsthefastestblade speed.
Adjustblade speed for optimumperformance.
NOTE: Determine theoptimumspeed for
cuttingyourworkpieceby makinga trial cut
ina scrappiece ofthe material.
