coolbeforestoringortransporting.
•Storeattachmentwithbladeshield
inplace.Positionattachmentsothat
anysharpobjectcannotaccidentally
causeinjury.
•Storetheattachmentinadry,well
ventilatedareaoutofthereachof
children.
SEASONALSTORAGE
Prepareattachmentforstorageatend
ofseasonorifitwillnotbeusedfor30
daysormore.
Ifyouredgerattachmentistobe
storedforaperiodoftime:
•Cleantheentireattachment.
• Inspectthebladeshieldareaand
cleananydirt,grass,leaves,orde-
bristhathascollected.Inspectthe
bladeandbladeshield;replacea
bladethatisbent,warped,cracked,
brokenordamagedinanyother
way.
• Lightlyoilexternalmetalsurfaces.
•Applyacoatingofoiltotheentire
surfaceoftheblade;wrapitinheavy
paperorcloth.
•Checkentireattachmentforloose
screwsornuts.Replaceanydam-
aged,wornorbrokenparts.
•Atthebeginningofthenextseason,
useonlyfreshfuelhavingtheproper
gasolinetooilratio.
