2. ASSIST HANDLE Handle Assist Handle w Insert the end of the tube through the assist handle. Figure 2 (inset). Screw C. b. Align the v.ssist handle between the safety label and the throttle trigger housing. Seat tube in the groove in the assist handle. Figure 2. Co d_ Insert the tab on bracket I. into the slot on the assist handle. Figure 2. Then, lay the bracket into place over the tube. Insert screw C. down through the hole in the assist handle bracket and then through the assist handle.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS Bring the engine to cutting the material to be cut. • • speed before entering Do not run the engine at a higher speed than necessary. The cutting line will cut effi_hrottently when the engine is run at less than full le. At lower speeds, there is less engine noise and vibration. The cutting llne will last longer and will be less likely to "weld" onto the spool.

CUTTING ADVANCE The trimmer line wilI advance approximately 2 inches each time the bottom of the trimmer head is tapped on the ground with the engine running at full throttle. D. CARBURETOR ADJUSTMENTS YOUR SEARS PRODUCT HAS BEEN DESIGNED AND MANUFACTURED TO SPECIFICATIONS THAT REDUCE HARMFUL EMISSIONS. After your unit has been run for 5 hours, the engine has brokenin. To ensure that your unit is at peak performance and producing the least amoUnt of harmful emissions after break-in, have your SEARS Service Center/Department adjust your carburetor for optimum operating conditions. Properly adjusting the carburetor is a complicated task.
e. ACCELERATION CHECK L Allow engine to idle. Be sure the trimmer line is extended to the maximum length allowed by the line limiter. 2. Squeeze trigger fully: a.) If performance is satisfactor_ proeeed to "d. Deceleration Cher_k." b:) If the engine does not accelerate smoothl_ turn the _ screw counterclockwise a small mount (no more than the width of the slot in the adjusting screw). 3. Repeat step"2."untilsmooth acceleration is obtained.

5. POSTURA PARA LA OPERACION a. Antes de arrancar el motor, pfirese como se muestra en la figura 5 y verifique 1o siguiente: I. Que el brazo izquierdo est6 completamente extendldo, con la mano asiend0 el mango auxiliar. 2. Que el brazo derecho est_ ligeramente doblado, con la mano sujetando el mango superior y los dedos sobre el gatillo del acelerador. 3. Que el mango superior est_ pot debajo del nive! de la cintura. 4. Que el peso de la herramienta est_ uniformemente distribuido entre los brazos. 5.

Este aceite est_ especialmeme combinado con estabilizadores de combustible para una estabilidad mayor del combustible (prolonga hasta 5 veces la duraci6n del combustible) y reduce el burnt.
ARRANQUE (Refi_rase controles) ANTES • DE SU MOTOR a las "Especificaciones" DE ARRANCAR para la ubicaci6n ARRANCADO UN MOTOR CALIENTE QUE TODAVIA TIENE COMBUSTIBLE: • Mueva la palanca del regulador a la posici6n "MEDIO". - Apriete hasta el final y mantenga en esa posici6n el gatillo del acelerador. Mant_agalo en esa posici6n hasta que el motor funcione suavemente. • Tire en_rgicamente de ia cuerda del arrancador hasta que el motor funcione pero no mils que 5 tirones.
INTRUCCIONES PAIL& LA OPERACION Antes de entrar en el material a cortar, acelere el motor auna velocidad adecnada para el corte. • No haga funclonar el motor auna velocidad mayor que la necesarla. La tfnea conar_ eficientemente cuando el motor est_ funeionando a una velocidad menor que la del acelerador a fondo. A velocidades rots bajas hay menos ruido dei motor y menos vibraci6n, la lfnea de cone durar_i m_ y habrfi menos posibilidad de que se "pegue" al carrete.
B. AVANCE i DE LA LINEA DE CORTE C. MANTENIMIENTO A. SEGURIDAD I. 2. 3. 4. GENERAL DEL MANTENIMIENTO 5. Mantenga la unidad de acuerdo a los procedimientos recomendados. Mantenga la Ifnea de la cortadora a! largo apropiado. Desconecte la bujia antes de llevar a cabo cualquier mantenimiento, excepto para la regulaci6n del carburador.
D. AJUSTES DEL CARBURADOR SU PRODUCTO SEARS HA SIDO DISEI_tADO Y FABRICADO SEGUN ESPECIFICACIONES QUE REDUCEN LAS EMISIONES DAI_INAS. Despu_s que su unidad ha funcionado durante 5 horas, el motor estd |isto. 17. CUERDA PARA ARRANCAR o Reemplace ia cuerda para arrancar que se rompa ADVERTENCIA: No saque la aleta de ret_n y el tornillo de la polea. El resorte que est_ debajo de ia polea est_ bajo tensi6n y puede sallr despedldo causando lesiones serias. No use la unidad si cualquier pieza de] con junto de la caja de la polea est_ dafiada, con excepci6n de la cuerda. Ll_vela a su Centro/Departamento de Serviclo SEAP_ rods cercano. I.
