Wall Mount Bracket
NOTE: Follow installation instruc-
tions attached to bracket packaging.
_WARNING; When drilling
holes in wall during installation of
wall mount bracket, avoid electrical
wires in the wall and penetrating
completely through the wall.
Examine parts for damage. Do not
use damaged parts.

ADJUSTING UPPER HANDLE
• Press buttonlocated on the under-
aide of the upper handle and extend
handle to a comfortable position.

I. LOosenwing nut or knob on han-
die.
2. Rotate tl_ehandle on the tube to
an upright position;place in a
oormortable position and retighten
wing nut.
ATTACHING THE SHIELD
_, WARNING: The shield must be
properly installed. The shield provides
partial protectionfrom the risk of
thrown objectsto the operator and
others. Your unit is equipped with a
line limlter blade, which cuts excess
line to the proper length while running.
The line ,miter blade (on underside of
shield) is sharp and can cut you.
NOTE: If shield is not propedy
installed, damage to unit (including
motorfailure) wilt result.
1. Aligntheinstallation arrow onthe
shieldwiththeinstallationarrowon
the motorhousing(seeillustration
below).
2. Inserttheshieldontothemotor
housing.Ensurecuttinglinere-
mainsfree to rotateandisnot
caughtbetweenthe shieldandthe
motorhousing.
3. Twisttheshield as illustrateduntil
itsnapssecurelyintoplace. Make
surethe shieldisfacingthe back
ofthe unitas shownonthe front
coverofthis manual,
