Clean Debris
Daiiy or before use, clean accumuiated debris from cleaning
system. Keepiinkage, spring and controis clean. Keeparea
around and behind muffler free from any combustible debris.
Inspect cooiing air siots and openings on the pressure
washer. These openings must be kept clean and
unobstructed.
Cieaning system parts should be kept cleanto reducethe risk
of overheatingand ignition of accumuiated debris.
o Usea damp cloth to wipe exterior surfaces clean.

° Usea soft bristle brush to ioosen cakedon dirt, off, etc.
o Usea vacuum cleanerto pick up loose dirt and debris.
Check and Cmean[n_etScreen
Examinegarden hose inlet screen. Clean if it is clogged or
replace if it is torn.
Check High Pressure Hese
High pressure hoses can develop ieaks from wear, kinking,
or abuse, inspect hose before each use. Checkfor cuts,
leaks, abrasions, bulging of cover, or damage or movement
of couplings. If any of ttlese conditions exist, replacehose
immediately.

The higil pressure stream of water that this

Check Gnn and Hezzle Extensien
Examinehose connection to spray gun and makesure it is
secure. Test trigger by pressing it and making sure it springs
back into piace whenyou releaseit. Put safety iatch in UP
position and test trigger. You should not beabie to press
trigger. Replacespray gun immediately if it fails any of these
tests.
Hezzle Ntaintenanee
A pulsing sensation felt whiie squeezingthe spray gun trigger
may be caused by excessivepump pressure. The principal
cause of excessive pump pressure is a spray tip clogged or
restricted with foreign materiais,such as dirt, etc. To correct
the problem, immediately clean the spray tip following these
instructions:
1. Shut off engine andturn off water suppty.
2. ALWAYS point spray gun in a safe direction and squeeze
spray gun trigger to release retainedhigh water

engine is stopped and water is disconnected,

guntrigger,to releasehighpressure,everytimeyoustop
engine.Engagetriggerlockwhennot in use.

Removespray tip from end of nozzieextension.
Usea smaii paperclip to free any foreign matedai
clogging or restricting spray tip (A).

Remove nozzleextension from spray gun.
Using a garden hose, removeadditionai debris by back
flushing water through nozzteextension. Backflush
between30 to 60 seconds.
7. Reinstaiispray tip into nozzteextension.
8. Reconnectnozzleextensionto spray gun.
9. Makesure garden hose is connectedto water inlet.
Checkthat high pressure hose is connected to spray gun
and pump. Turn on water.
10. Engagetrigger iock on spray gun and start engine

11. Test pressure washer by operating with each quick
connect spray tip.
