Engine runsgoed at ne-lead but
"begs" when lead isadded.
Enginewill net start; orstarts and
runsrough.
1. Water inlet is blocked.
2. Inadequatewater supply.
3. Inlet hose is kinked or leaking.
4. Clogged inlet hose strainer.
5. Water supply is over IO0°F.
6. High pressure hose is blocked or
leaks.
7. Gun leaks.
8. Spray tip is obstructed.
9. Pump is faulty.
1. Detergent siphoning tube is not
submerged.
2. Detergent siphoning tube/filter is
clogged or cracked.
3. High pressure spray tip installed.
Enginespeed is too slow.
1. Dirty air cleaner.
2. Out of fuel.
3. Stale fuel.
4. Spark plug wire not connected to
spark plug.
5. Bad spark plug.
6. Water in fuel.
7. Overchoking.
8. Excessivelyrich fuel mixture.
1. Clearinlet.
2. Provide adequatewater flow.
3. Straighten inlet hose, patch leak.
4. Checkand clean inlet hose strainer.
5. Provide cooler water supply.
6. Clearblocks in high pressure hose or
replace hose.
7. Replacegun.
8. Cleanspray tip.
9. ContactSears service facility
1. Insert detergent siphoning tube into
detergent.
2. Cleanor replace filter/detergent
siphoning tube.
3. Replacehigh pressure spray tip with
black spray tip.
Movethrottle control to FASTposition. If
engine still "bogs down", contact Sears
service facility.
1. Cleanor replace air cleaner.
2. Fill fuel tank.
3. Drain fuel tank; fill with fresh fuel.
4. Connectwire to spark plug.
5. Replacespark plug.
6. Drain fuel tank; fill with fresh fuel.
7. Openchoke fully and crank engine.
8. ContactSears service facility.
Engineshutsdownduring Out of fuel. Fill fuel tank.

Enginelackspower. Dirty air filter.
Chokeis openedtoo soon.
Engine"hunts" er falters.
Replaceair filter.
Move choke to halfway position until engine
runs smoothly.
