To ensure safe and proper operation of your tractor all parts and hardware you assemble must be tightened securely° Use the correct tools as necessary to insure proper tightness. RESPONSIBiLiTIES ENGINE OIL FILTER (See Fig. 17) IN-LINE FUEL FILTER Replace the engine oil filter every season or every otheroil change if the tractor is used more than 100 hours in one year. • Drain oil from engine crankcase (See "TO CHANGE ENGINE OIL" in this section of this manual, through step remove drain plug)_ The fuel filter should be replaced once each season.
CAUTION: = = • • ° ° BEFORE PERFORMING ANY SERVICE OR ADJUSTMENTS: Place gearshift lever inpedal neutral (N)and position. Depress clutch/brake fully set parking brake. Place attachment clutch in "DISENGAGED" positiom Turn ignition key "OFF" and remove key. Make sure the blades and all moving parts have completely stopped. Disconnect spark plug wire from spark plug and place wire where it cannot come in contact with plug. TRACTOR TO REMOVE MOWER (See Fig.

TO REPLACE (See Fig. 24) MOWER BLADE DRIVE WITH PARKINGBRAKE "ENGAGED" BELT The mower blade drive belt may be replaced withouttools. Park the tractor on level surface.. Engage parking brake. BELT REMOVAL * o Remove mower from tractor (See "TO REMOVE MOWER" in this section of this manual). NUT "A" Work belt off both mandrel pulleys and idler pulleys° , Pull belt away from mower..
