-• Clean engine, battery, seat, finish, etc.
of all foreign matter.
Keep finished surfaces arid wheels free
of all gasoline, oil, etc.
Protect painted surfaces with automo-
tive type wax.
We do not recommend using a garden
hose to clean your tractor unless the elec-
trical system, muffler, air filter and carbure-
tor are covered to keep water out. Water
in engine can result in a shortened engine
life.
,_CAUTION: Before performing any service or adjustments:
Depress clutch/brakepedal fullyand set parking brake.
-.--Placemotioncontrol lever in neutral (N) position.
; Place attachmentclutch in"DISENGAGED" position.
TumJgnitionkey "OFF" and Pemovekey.
Make sure the blades and all movingparts have completelystopped.
Disconnectspark plugwire from spark plug and place wire where it cannot come
in contact with plug.
TO REMOVE MOWER
Mower will be easier to removefromthe
right side oftractor.
Place attachment clutchin "DISEN-
GAGED_"p.osition.
Move attachment liftlever forwardto
lower mower to its lowestposition.
Roll belt off engine pulley.
Disconnectclutchrodfrom clutch lever
by removingretainer spring.
+Disconnect anti-swaybar fromchassis
bracketby removingretainerspring.
Disconnectsuspensionarms from rear
deck brackets by removingretainer
springs.

Disconnectfrontlinksfrom deck by
removingretainersprings.
Raise liftleverto raise suspension
arms. Slidemower out from undertrac-
tor.
IMPORTANT: If an attachmentother than
the mower deck isto be mounted on the
tractor, remove the front links.
TO INSTALL MOWER
Raise attachmentlilt lever to itshighest
position.
Slide mowerundertractorwith dis-
charge guardto rightside oftractor.
Lower liftleverto its lowest position.
