LUBR!CATION
Use only high quality detergent oil rated with AP! service
classification SF, SG or SH. Select the oil's SAE viscosity
grade according to your expected temperature.
SAE VISCOSITY GRADES
o F .20 ° 0 ° 30 ° 32 ° 40 ° 60_ 80 _ 100°
.30 ° -20 ° .10 ° 0_ t0 _ 20 _ 30 ° 40°

NOTE: Although multi-viscosity oils (5W-30, 10W-30, etc.)
improve staring in cold weather, these multi-viscosity oils
will result in increased oil consumption when used above
32°F (0°C). Check your engine oil level more frequently to
avoid possible engine damage from running tow on oil.
Change the oil after every 25 hours of operation or at least
once a year if the tractor is not used for 25 hours inone year.
Check the crankcase oil level before starting the engine
and after each five (5) hours of continuous use. Add SAE
30 motor oi! or equivalent. Tighten oil filler plug securely
each time you check the oil level.
TO CHANGE ENGINE OIL (See Figs. 11 and 12)
Determine temperature range expected before oil change.
Atl oil must meet APt service classification SF, SG or SH.
, Be sure tiller is on tevei surface.
Oi! wil! drain more freely when warm,
Catch oif in a suitable container.
Remove drain plug.
Tip tiller forward to drain oil.
