HOWTO USEYOUR LAWN MOWER DRIVE SYSTEM • With engine running, select ground speed by moving speed control lever to desired position.
SIMPLE STEPS TO REMEMBER WHEN CONVERTING YOUR LAWN MOWER FOR MULCHING • Rear mulcher plug installed. • Mulcher door closed. TO ATTACH GRASS CATCHER • Uft the rear door of l_e lawn mower and place the grass catcher frame hooks into the slots of the re_ door. • The grass catcher is secured to the lawn mower housing when the rear door is lowered onto the grass catcher frame. FOR REAR BAGGING Rear door • Rear mulch_ plug removed. • Grass catcher installed.
• Check oil level before each use. Add oil if TO START ENGINE needed. Fill "to full line on dipstick. • To read proper level, tighten engine oil cap each time. • To start a coldengine, pushprimerthree (3) times beforeWing to start. Use a firm push. This step is notusuallynecessary when startingan engine which has already runfor a few minutes. • Hold operator presence controlbar down to the handle. • To step engine, release operator presence control bar.
MOWINGTIPS MULCHING MOWING TIPS • For most cuttingconditionsand bettor begging performance,the engine speed shouldbe set in the fast position. • Under certainconditions,such as when mowingvery tall grass, raisethe mower heighton the firstcutto reduce pushing effort,to avoid overheatingthe engine,end to avoid leaving clumpsof grass clippings.
