Water which comes in contact with electricity charged components can transmit electricity to the frame and other surfaces, resulting in electrical shock to anyone contacting them. Operate generator in a clean, dry, well ventilated area.

Gasoline and gasoline vapors can become ignited by coming in contact with hot components such as the muffler, engine exhaust gases, or from an electrical spark. Turn engine off and allow it to cool before adding fuel to the tank.

RECEPTACLES GENERATOR CAPACITY Your generator is equipped with duplex 120 volt receptacle a 120 twistlock and a 120/240 volt twistlock receptacle. Exceeding the rated capacity of your generator can result in serious damage to your generator and connected electrical devices.
OBTAINING ELECTRICITY FROM GENERATOR • • There are basically two ways to obtain electricity form a generator: • Use of extension cords directly form the generator to the appliance, lights, tools, etc. Start the engine. Let it run while the battery charges. When the battery is fully charged, stop the engine and disconnect the battery charge cables from the panel and battery. NOTE: Do not use the unit to charge any 6volt batteries.Do not use the unit to crank an engine having a discharged battery.
To Start Your Generator CAUTION: Never run engine indoors or in enclosed, poor ventilated areas, engine exhaust contains carbon monoxide, an ordorless and deadly gas. Air cooled engines run hotter than automotive engines. The use of multi-viscosity oil such as (10W-30, etc.) in ambient temperatures above 40°F (4°C) will result in higher than normal oil consumption. If multi-viscosity oil is used, check the oil level more frequently to prevent any posssible engine damage due to lack or lubrication.
Connecting Electrical Loads Stopping The Engine • Let engine run and warm up for about five minutes after starting. • Disconnect all electrical loads. • Switch the start/off switch to the off position. • Plug in the desired 120 or 240 volts tools. • DO NOT connect 240 volt equipment to the 120 volt duplex receptacles. • DO NOT connect 3-phase loads to the panel receptacles. IMPORTANT: You should always add up the rated watts of all lights, tools and appliances you are powering at one time.
• Reinstall the oil fill cap or plug and tighten securely. GENERAL RECOMMENDATIONS The warranty of the generator does not cover items that have been subjected to operator abuse or negligence. To receive full value from the warranty, operator must maintain the generator as instructed in this manual. Some adjustments will need to be made periodically to maintaining your generator. Service Air Cleaner GENERATOR MAINTENANCE Your generator should be kept clean and dry at all times.
Before running engine, clean muffler area to remove all combustible debris. Clean and Replace Spark Plug Change the spark plug every 100 hours of operation or once each year, whichever comes first. This will help your engine to start easier and run better. .030 (0.76 MM) WIRE GAGE RESISTOR SERVICE ADJUSTMENTS Carburetor The carburetor of your generator is pre-set at the factory. The carburetor should not be tampered with.

FONCTIONNEMENT .PRISES DUPLEX DE 120 VOLTS – Utilisées pour fournir une puissance électrique de 1 800 watts à chacune des prises pour faire fonctionner divers appareils. Protégées par un coupecircuit de 15 ampères. BIEN CONNAÎTRE VOTRE GÉNÉRATRICE Lire ce Guide de l’utilisateur et les mesures de sécurité avant de faire fonctionner votre génératrice. Comparer ce schéma avec votre génératrice afin de vous familiariser avec l’emplacement des commandes et des réglages.
PRISES DE COURANT CAPACITÉ DE LA GÉNÉRATRICE Votre génératrice est équipée de prises de courant duplex de 120 volts, d’une prise de 120 volts à verrou tournant et d’une prise de 120/240 volts à verrou tournant. Si la capacité nominale de la génératrice est dépassée, cela risque de causer des dommages importants à la génératrice et aux dispositifs électriques branchés.
COMMENT OBTENIR DE L’ÉLECTRICITÉ DE LA GÉNÉRATRICE • Démarrer le moteur. Le laisser tourner pendant que la batterie se charge. • Une fois que la batterie est complètement chargée, arrêter le moteur et débrancher les câbles d’appoint du panneau et de la batterie. Il y a deux façons d’obtenir de l’électricité de la génératrice: • Utiliser des rallonges branchées directement de la génératrice aux appareils, lampes, outils etc.
Démarrage de la génératrice Coefficients de viscosité SAE MISE EN GARDE : Ne jamais faire tourner le moteur à l’intérieur ou dans un endroit fermé sans aération adéquate. Les gaz d’échappement du moteur contiennent du monoxyde de carbone, un gaz toxique, sans odeur. Synthétique ÉCHELLE DE TEMPÉRATURES ANTICIPÉES AU DÉMARRAGE AVANT LE CHANGEMENT D’HUILE SUBSÉQUENT S’assurer que la soupape de coupure de carburant est réglée en position ouverte.
Branchement de charges électriques Arrêt du moteur • Après le démarrage, laisser tourner le moteur pendant environ cinq minutes afin de le laisser réchauffer. • Brancher les outils ou appareils de 120 ou de 240 volts. • NE PAS brancher des appareils de 240 volts dans les prises duplex de 120 volts. • NE PAS brancher des charges triphasées aux prises du panneau.
• RECOMMANDATIONS GÉNÉRALES La garantie de la génératrice ne comprend pas les pièces qui ont subi un dommage causé par en emploi abusif ou une négligence de la part de l’utilisateur. Pour s’assurer de tirer pleinement avantage de la garantie, l’utilisateur doit entretenir la génératrice selon les directives contenues dans ce guide. Remettre le capuchon ou le bouchon de remplissage d’huile et bien le serrer. HUILE PLEIN De temps à autre, certains réglages sont nécessaires pour entretenir la génératrice.
Avant de démarrer le moteur, nettoyer la surface autour du silencieux pour éliminer tous les résidus combustibles. Nettoyage et remplacement de la bougie d’allumage Remplacer la bougie d’allumage à toutes les 100 heures de fonctionnement ou une fois par an, selon la première situation qui se présente. Cela facilite le démarrage et améliore le rendement du moteur.
