ASSEMBLY
DANGER: To reduce the risk of serious personal
injury, turn unit off, remove safety key, and
remove battery pack before assembly, making
any adjustments or removing/installing
attachments or accessories. An accidental start-up
can causeinjury.
Adjusting Handle Height (Fig. B)
The mower is shipped in storage mode. You will need to
adjust the handle to operating position beforecontinuing.
1. To unlock the handle

from storage position, twist the
two handle locks

90°. The handle locks are located on
both sides of the handle
as shown in Fig.B
.
2. R
aise the handle to operatingposition.
3. Locate the three handle detent holes 

on the handle
brackets 

as shown in Fig. B.
4. Adjust the handle to the position that best fits the
operator and lock the handle in place by twisting the
handle locks back 90° and allowing the handle locks

to snap into the desired detentholes.

Grass Collection Bag (Fig. C)
DANGER: Remove safety key and battery pack when
opening rear door cover and installingbag.
1. Lift the rear door cover

and place the grass
collection bag

onto the mower so the bag hooks

rest on the lugs

as shown in Fig. C. Then lower the
rear doorcover.
DO NOT use under wet conditions or in presence of
flammable liquids orgases.
DO NOT let children come into contact with the tool.
Supervision is required when inexperienced operators use
thistool.

Side Discharge (Fig. A)
DANGER: Remove safety key and battery pack before
removing collection bag.
1. To operate mower in side discharge mode remove the
grass collection bag.
2. Be sure rear door cover

is down for sidedischarge.
3. Lift the side flap

and hook side discharge
attachment

onto the mower.
4. Release the side flap and ensure the attachment holds
in place before turning mower on.
NOTE: The rear door cover is shaped in such a way that
the opening (at the bottom) cannot be completely
closedoff.
OPERATION

Installing and Removing the Battery Pack
(Fig. D)
DANGER: MAKE CERTAIN THE SAFETY KEY IS
REMOVED TO PREVENT ACTUATION BEFORE
REMOVING OR INSTALLINGBATTERY.
NOTE: For best results, make sure the battery pack is
fullycharged.
To Install Battery Pack
1. Lift and hold the battery port cover

up to expose the
battery port

2. Slide a battery pack

into the battery port until an
audible click is heard (Fig. D). Make sure the battery pack
is fully seated and fully latched intoposition.
3. Close the battery port cover. Ensure the cover is fully
closed before startingmower.
To Remove Battery Pack
1. Open the battery port cover
