Removeanyboltspresentin • front mounting holes in
sideoftractorframe.Ifboltwillnotscrewoutofhole,
checkifanutispresentonboltoninsideofframe.
OnGTtractors,ifaccesstonutisblockedbyafront
mountedmufer,slidemuferdownexhausttubesto
restontopofbrowningshield.
IMPORTANT: Be sure to re-attachmuferandheat
shieldafterbumperisinstalled.
If • rear mounting holes in tractor frame are empty,
installhexboltsandwhizlocknutssuppliedinthe
partsbags.Seegure5.
STEP 5: (SEE FIGURE 6)
• Spreadendsofbumperenoughtotslotsontobolts
in rear mounting holes in tractor frame.
• Thebumperhasthreemountingholes.Therear
hole provides the most clearance while the forward
holesprovideaneaterappearance.Useahole
that provides enough clearance for hood to stay in
raisedpositionwhenopened.Attachthebumper
usingeitherstandardhexboltsandwhizlocknutsor
selfthreadingboltsandlockwashers.Usetheself
threadingboltsifstandardhexboltsdonotinsert
freely into the hole in the tractor frame.
IMPORTANT: Before fullytighteningbolts,besure
tractor hood will stay in raised position when opened.
