OPERATION AND USE BEFORE EACH USE: CHECK HUMIDIFIER PLACEMENT Place the Humidifier on an elevated, non-metallic, lint-free, waterproof, level surface at least 2 feet above the floor. DO NOT place the humidifier on carpet or a towel. The fan vent is located on the bottom of the humidifier base. The fan vent MUST NOT be obstructed. DO NOT place the humidifier on a wood surface or near furniture that can be damaged by too much moisture.
PERSONAL HUMIDIFIER FEATURES Automatic Shut-Off As soon as the water in the water tank runs low, the humidifier will automatically switch off. The LCD Clock will remain on. Adjusting Mist Output 1. As soon as the humidifier is switched on, it will operate on the high setting (5 bars will show on the right side of display). 2. Press the FLOW / SET button to reduce output (The bars will disappear on the right side of display). 3. The output will be reduced and less mist will be emitted into the air. 4.
The humidifier will switch ON and OFF using the preset hours. To switch the humidifier OFF during the cycle ON/OFF period, press and hold the CANCEL button until the humidifier switches OFF. NOTE: If the double arrows (cycle symbol) blink several times, the times was not set correctly. Please repeat the Setting Cycle Function procedure. Deactivating Cycle Function 1. Press and hold the POWER / CANCEL button.
LIGHT / FUNCTION button to set the minutes. 6. Press the FLOW / SET button until the set time appears. Activating and Deactivating the Alarm 1. To activate the alarm, press and hold the POWER / CANCEL and LIGHT / FUNCTION buttons until the clock icon appears in the display. 2. To deactivate the alarm, press and hold the POWER / CANCEL and LIGHT / FUNCTION buttons until the clock icon disappears from the display.
A NOTE ABOUT HUMIDITY It is best to keep the humidity level at about 40%-50% of relative humidity. In cold weather, windows and even some walls may fog or develop frost from excessive indoor humidity. If this occurs, reduce the mist output setting to avoid damage from condensed water dripping onto windowsills. Too much humidity in the room may allow moisture to accumulate on surfaces where bacteria and fungi can grow.
TROUBLE SHOOTING DO NOT attempt to repair the motor or nebulizer yourself. Problem Solution If humidifier does not have any power: Ensure unit is properly plugged into a power outlet. Check that the Control Knob is turned to the ON position.
