AIR PURIFIER FEATURES
Level 1: Washable Particle Filter
The purpose of the foam particle filter is to extend
the life of the HEPA filter by removing large
particles before they can get to the HEPA filter. You
will find visible dust, hair, and lint in the particle
filter. By keeping the particle filter clean, you can
dramatically extend the life of your HEPA filter and
improve the overall efficiency of your air purifier.
NOTE: See Maintenance instruction for the Particle
Filter.
Level 2: True HEPA Filter
HEPA stands for High Efficiency Particulate Air. The
inlet grill of your air purifier draws in dirty air.
Crane’s air purifier true HEPA filter removes at least
99.97% of all particles as small as 0.3 microns.
Microns are used to measure the size of these
microscopic airborne particles.
Allergens such as pollen, smoke, animal dander,
mold spores, and dust get trapped in the HEPA
filter.
Level 3: Active Carbon Filter
The Active Carbon Filter (inside the HEPA filter)
captures particles as well as absorbs common
household odors caused from tobacco, pets,
garbage and cooking.
Level 4: Photocatalyst Filter
In conjunction with the internal germicidal UV light,
the photocatalyst filter creates an advanced
oxidation that eliminates airborne odors and
neutralizes harmful fumes.
Level 5: Germicidal UV Light
The ultraviolet light prevents germs from growing in
the HEPA filter and kills viruses or bacteria along
with the other airborne pollutants and microns.
NOTE: Blue UV Indicator Light indicates that the UV
light is ON.
