OPERATION AND USE 1. Place the fan on the floor in the desired location. 2. Ensure that the fan’s Power is Off. 3. Plug the fan into a 120V AC outlet. This fan has a polarized plug ((one blade is wider than the other). As a safety feature to reduce the risk of electrical shock, this plug is intended to fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to defeat this safety feature.
CHANGING THE BATTERY 1. Remove the battery door on the back of the remote. 2. Confirm battery polarity and insert battery into the battery door. 3. Insert battery door into remote. MAINTENANCE CAUTION: Always be sure that the fan is switched OFF and unplugged. Do not immerse fan in water or allow water to drip into the interior of the fan, as this could create an electric shock hazard. CARE AND CLEANING 1. Always turn off the fan and disconnect the cord from the electrical outlet before cleaning your fan.
