NEWPORT KING SIZE BED head board before insertion side rail side rail after insertion 1 With the assistance of another adult, insert the notched metal plate of the side rails into the slots of the head board as illustrated. 2 Attach foot board using the same method. side rail foot board head board 3 Place the five cross bars onto the notches of the side rails and secure each cross bar with two screws as illustrated.

Carefully slide the middle rail under the cross bars (see picture below). machine screw spring washer flat washer cross bar middle rail 5 Secure the middle rail to the cross bars in 5 locations using machine screws, spring washers and flat washers in the order illustrated. Assembly is now complete. CLEANING AND CARE Clean wood surfaces with a damp cloth.
