Emergency Overview
DANGER:
Flammable. Harmful or Fatal if Swallowed. Contents Under Pressure.
As defined by OSHA’s Hazard Communication Standard, this product is hazardous.
Appearance & Odor: Clear, water-white liquid, light citrus odor
Potential Health Effects:
ACUTE EFFECTS:
EYE: May cause mild to moderate irritation, redness and tearing if product makes direct contact with eyes.
Corneal injury is unlikely.
SKIN: May cause mild irritation with extended contact. Prolonged or repeated contact may cause drying or
defatting of the skin. Not expected to be a skin irritant.
INHALATION: Single exposure to vapors is not likely to be hazardous. Effects of extended exposure may include
irritation of the nose and throat, transient excitation followed by signs of nervous system depression
(headache, drowsiness, dizziness, loss of coordination, disorientation and fatigue).
INGESTION: Low degree of toxicity by ingestion. May cause irritation of the digestive tract, nausea and vomiting.
Main hazard is aspiration of material into lungs during swallowing or vomiting. This can lead to
chemical pneumonitis (inflammation of the lungs) and possible death.
CHRONIC EFFECTS: Inadequate evidence available to evaluate cancer hazard.
