To avoid permanent damage, remove the memory card only when when your player is at the Main Menu or when your player is turned off . You can only access your memory card if your camera in unprotected. If your camera cannot detect the memory card, remove the memory card, clean it with a soft cloth.

Disconnect your camera when you are prompted to do so.
