Using the USB
Cable
You can also charge your player’s battery using the supplied USB cable.
Connect the USB cable to your player and computer’s USB ports, as shown
in Figure 3-3.
1. In Windows Explorer, right-click the Removable Disk icon and click
Eject to start charging the battery. appears on your player's LCD.
2. When appears on your player's LCD, your player is fully charged.
3. Safely disconnect your player from your computer. For more details, see
"Step 5: Stopping Your Player Properly" on page 3-10.
DO NOT charge your
player’s battery via the
USB port until after you
have installed the
software.
You can disconnect
your player from your
computer even if the
battery is not fully
charged.
