3. Output and Input Setup

• At the Mixer tab, select “Playback” and set the Master Speaker Volume to 100%. Set the rest of the Monitoring

source and SPDIF Out to 0% and mute them.

2. Cable Loopback Connection and Set Impedance

Use a high quality RCA to RCA audio (stereo) cable; connect the Line output to Line Input for the loopback test.

Then set the impedance to 8Ω at the back of Sound Blaster X7.

• Your Sound Blaster X7 is now properly set up for Analog measurement.

• Select “Recording”, set Line In volume at 50%, set all other Recording inputs to 0% and mute them.
