Problem Solving
Troubleshooting
The following table provides corrective action for possible trouble
situations. If further assistance is required, please contact a Crestron
customer service representative.
C2N-IIF Troubleshooting

C2N-IIFis not
receiving power.
Confirm that power is
supplied via the Cresnet
connector.
C2N-IIF Net ID is not
correct.
In Viewport, poll the network
to verify Net ID.
C2N-IIF Net ID is not
set to match the Net
ID specified in
SIMPL Windows.
Verify SIMPL Windows
program for setting Net ID.
C2N-IIF
does not
function.
C2N-IIF Net ID is the
same as another
device’s Net ID.
Assign a different Net ID for
the C2N-IIF to match the Net
ID specified in the SIMPL
Windows program.
Microphone is not
properly connected
to C2N-IIF.
Verify microphone connection
to C2N-IIF.
Microphone
audio is not
audible.
Microphone volume
is set too low.
Raise microphone volume.
C2N-IIF is set to
wrong operating
mode.
Set correct operating mode
(see “INPUT" on page 12).
C2N-IIF
does not
receive logic
input.
C2N-IIF INPUT
connector is wired
incorrectly for
operating mode.
Rewire INPUT connector for
