Troubleshooting
The following table provides corrective action for possible trouble situations. If
further assistance is required, please contact a Crestron customer service
representative.

communicating with the

Use Crestron Toolbox to poll
the network. Verify network
connection to the device.
Device is not receiving
power from a Crestron
power source.
Use a Crestron power source.
Verify connections.
Device does not
function.
Device is not receiving
sufficient power.
Use the Crestron Power
Calculator to help calculate
how much power is needed
for the system.
Loose network
connection.
Verify that cable plugged into
NET port is secure.
NET LED does
not illuminate.
Improper Net ID.
Verify that the device Net ID
matches Net ID software
program. Refer to “Identity
Code” on page 10 of this
operations guide.
PWR LED does
not illuminate.
Device is not receiving
power.
Verify NET connection.
ROOM 1-8 LEDs
do not illuminate.
Improper programming.
Confirm signal names and
programming logic so that
LEDs respond when functions
are activated.
Audio not
balanced or poor
sound quality.
Room not set up.
Room must be set up from a
touchpanel to adjust bass,
treble, balance, etc.
Hum on audio. Grounding problem. Connect chassis ground wire.
Loss of
functionality due
to electrostatic
discharge.
Improper grounding.
Check that all ground
connections have been made
properly.
