2. Turn the selection knob until the default router’s IP address is displayed. To
change the IP address, press the selection knob to open the Default Router
control. The first octet of the default router’s IP address will be enclosed in
brackets.

3. Turn the selection knob to display the desired number.
4. Press the selection knob to move the cursor to the next octet.
5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 until the desired IP address is displayed. The IP
address will be entered after the last octet has been set.
DHCP
The PSPHD’s IP address can be obtained from a DHCP server or manually set using
the front panel controls. The default setting for the DHCP mode is “On”. For
information on manually setting the IP address, refer to “IP Address” on page 38. To
set the DHCP mode:
1. Open the Network Setup section as described on page 35.
2. Turn the selection knob until the DHCP setting is displayed. To change the
DHCP setting, press the selection knob to open the DHCP mode control.

3. Turn the selection knob to highlight the desired setting and press the
selection knob to enable the setting and return to the Network Setup
section.
WINS
The PSPHD can be configured to use a WINS server for communication. The default
setting for the WINS mode is “On”. To set the WINS mode:
1. Open the Network Setup section as described on page 35.
2. Turn the selection knob until the WINS setting is displayed. To change the
WINS setting, press the selection knob to open the WINS mode control.
