When in Local mode, selects output
destination(s). When in System mode,
selects routing view for a given output.
11 24/G
Four 2-position 5mm detachable terminal
block connectors (one connector for every
group of four QM ports) receive 24 Volts DC
from external Cresnet power supplies.
Maximum load 75 watts each. Interface
connectors for the 24/G connectors are
provided. For more information, refer to
“Hardware Hookup” on page 12.
12 QM IN 1 through 8
Eight RJ-45 QuickMedia input ports with
4-position terminal block Cresnet ports.
Connect via CRESCAT-QM cable to QM
output ports of other QuickMedia devices.*
Interface connectors for the Cresnet
connectors are provided.
13 QM OUT 1 through 8
Eight RJ-45 QuickMedia output ports with
4-position terminal block Cresnet ports.
Connect via CRESCAT-QM cable to QM
input ports of other QuickMedia devices.*
Interface connectors for the Cresnet
connectors are provided.
14 NET
Four-position terminal block connector for
data and power. Connects to Cresnet control
network. An interface connector is provided.

SETUP
(LED and button)
Used to setup unit’s Net ID in conjunction
with Crestron Toolbox.
* For QuickMedia wiring use CRESCAT-QM-NP or CRESCAT-QM-NP cable; the maximum
aggregate cable length and delay skew between any QM transmitter (origination point) and QM
receiver (endpoint) is 328 ft (100m) and 22 ns; a maximum of two QM midpoint devices may be
inserted in a given QM signal path. (exceptions apply, refer to each respective product manual for
full detail).
Industry Compliance
As of the date of manufacture, the QM-MD8X8 has been tested and found to comply
with specifications for CE marking and standards per EMC and
Radiocommunications Compliance Labelling.
