Each one of the RGB (QM versions only) and video inputs is selected and adjusted
from this window. Click on an input tab and adjust the settings for the selected input.
RGB Setup (QM versions only)
The setup screen for an RGB source contains the settings as displayed in the
following illustration. Changes are made in real time.

RGB is setup using the Position, Size, Color, and Lock Sync controls. The following
test patterns are recommended for adjustment.
Position and Size – A vertical/horizontal line grid screen test pattern is recommended
when adjusting for position and size.
Color – Color bar and gray scale screen test patterns are recommended for color
adjustments. All inputs are adjusted for brightness and contrast. Red, green and blue
are individually adjusted for an RGB input. Hue and saturation are adjusted for
composite, S-video and component video inputs.
NOTE: Changes made in the SIMPL windows program override these color
adjustments.
NOTE: When Default is selected, all controls are set to zero.
Lock Sync – A vertical (alternating black/white lines) line test pattern screen is
recommended. Lock Sync is available for RGB only.
NOTE: The vertical line test pattern should look uniform. If you see dark vertical
bars in the test pattern, adjust ‘Coarse’ to eliminate bands. If you see only horizontal
