Chapter 2 - Operating Information
Start Using Your Handheld Computer
Turn on your handheld computer by using the power button. After turning on the power of
your handheld computer, the device will boot up with Windows CE 6.0 R3.
Boot Up
When turning on the power, your will see “LOADING” on the screen and your handheld
computer will start to load the required boot up files and processes for operation. This
start-up procedure is called “boot up”. Your handheld computer requires approximately 20
seconds of Boot Up time before the OS is fully loaded.
After boot up, you will be presented with the desktop screen. Windows CE 6.0 shares much
of its visual design elements with other desktop and notebook operating systems from
Microsoft. You can create application short-cuts of to your desktop, change the background
wallpaper, as well as modify the display font size, etc., in a similar fashion.
