2. Operating the Safety
A. To Put the Airgun “ON SAFE:”
•Locatethesafetyontherightsideoftheairgun.
•Pushthesafetyinandallthewayforwardtowardthe“S”for“ONSAFE”(Fig.2).The
safetyisnot“ONSAFE”unlessitispushedallthewayforwardandtheredaroundthe
safetyisNOTshowing.
Likeallmechanicaldevices,anairgunsafetycanfail.Evenwhenthesafetyis“ONSAFE”,you
shouldcontinuetohandletheairgunsafely.NEVERpointtheairgunatanyperson.NEVER
pointtheairgunatanythingyoudonotintendtoshoot.
B. To Take the Airgun “OFF SAFE”:
•Pushthesafetyinandallthewaybackwardtowardthe“F”for“OFFSAFE”.WhenyoucanseetheREDring
aroundtheleftsideofthesafety,theairgunis”OFFSAFE”andcanbered.

WARNING:

cartridges may explode at temperatures above 120°F (48.9°C). Do not
mutilate or incinerate them. Do not expose them to heat or store CO
2
cartridges at tempera-
tures above 120°F (48.9°C).
•Puttheairgun“ONSAFE”(seeSection2A).
•MakesuretheairgunisUNLOADEDandPOINTEDINASAFEDIRECTION.
•Holdingtheairgunasshown,slidethegripstraightbackandremove(Fig.3).
•Turnthepiercingknobleftuntilitisallthewaydown.
•InsertthenewCO
2
cartridgeintotheairgunwiththesmallneckoftheCO
2
cartridge
insertedrstandup.
•Finger-tightenthecartridgepiercingknobbyturningitright.Ifyouhearahissingsound
whenpiercingthegun,trytighteningthescrewmore.
•Linethegripupwiththegrooveontheframeandslidethegripforwardtoclose.
•Tomakesurethecartridgehasbeenpierced,pointtheairguninaSAFEDIRECTION,
take“OFFSAFE”(seeStep2B)andpullthetrigger.
•Iftheairgundoesnotmakeapoppingnoiseafterpullingthetrigger,theCO
2
isnotbeing
discharged.Inthateventputtheairgun“ONSAFE”(Step2A),removethegripand
tightena1/4turn.Replacethegrip.
•PointtheairguninaSAFEDIRECTION,take“OFFSAFE”(seeStep2B)andpullthetrig-
ger.

Thisisveryimportanttoremember,asitwillprolongthelongevityofyourairgunseals.
B. Removing CO
2
Cartridge
WARNING:
Keep hands away from escaping CO
2
gas. It can cause frostbite if allowed
to come in contact with skin. Always make sure the CO
2
cartridge is empty before attempt-
ing to remove it from the airgun by slowly turning the knob counter-clockwise all the way
until you no longer hear the escape of CO
2
gas.
•Puttheairgun“ONSAFE”(section2A).
•MakesuretheairgunisUNLOADED(section4B)andpointedinaSAFEDIRECTION.
•Linethegripupwiththegrooveontheframeandslidethegripforwardtoclose.
•Useonehandtoholdtheairgunatthetopofthereceiver,beingsurenottocoverthemuzzle.
•Loosenthecartridgepiercingknobbyslowlyturningitleft(seeg.3)allowinganyremaininggastoescape.
•DropouttheCO
2
cartridge.
•Tightenthecartridgepiercingknobenoughsothatthegripwillpassoverit.
•Slidethegripforwardtoclose.
4. Loading and Unloading BBs
A. Loading BBs
•Makesuretheairgunis“ONSAFE”(SeeStep2A)andpointedinaSAFEDIRECTION.
•Removethemagazinebypressingonthemagazinereleasebuttonontheleft
sideoftheairgun.
•PullandholddowntheBBfollowertab(g.4)
•Insertupto20BBsintotheBBloadingholeonthefrontofthemagazine.
•PlaceangerovertheendofthemagazinewheretheBBswillexit.
•Withthemagazinepointedinasafedirection,releasetheBBFollowertab.
NOTE:ReleasingtheBBfollowertabquickly,orwithouttheendcovered,could
allowBBStoexitthemagazine.
•Inserttheloadedclipintotheairgun
•Yourairgunisnowloadedandreadytore,afterreadingtheentiremanual,
includingsection8onreviewingsafety.
B. Unloading BBs
•Puttheairgun“ONSAFE”(SeeStep2A).
•PointtheairguninaSAFEDIRECTION.
•Removethemagazinebypressingonthemagazinereleasebutton.
•PullandholddowntheBBfollowertab.
•TipthemagazineuntilalltheBBsfalloutofthehole.
•IfaBBisstillvisibleinthetopofthemagazine,pushtheBBoutofthemagazine.
•AimtheairguninaSAFEDIRECTION;insertthemagazineintogun,takeit“OFFSAFE”(SeeStep2B)andre.
NOTE:TheairgunmustbechargedwithCO
2
whenfollowingthesesteps,donotstoreyourairgunwithaCO
2
cartridgeinit.
•RepeatthisprocedureseveraltimesuntilyouaresureyouarenolongerringBBs.
WARNING:
Even though you go through the unloading procedure, continue to treat the
airgun as though it were loaded. Do not point at anything you do not intend to shoot.
5. Aiming and Firing Safely
•Youandotherswithyoushouldalwayswearshootingglassestoprotectyoureyes.
•AlwayspointyourairguninaSAFEDIRECTION.
•Donotshootathardsurfacesoratthesurfaceofwater.TheBBsmaybounceofforricochetandhitsomeone
orsomethingyouhadnotintendedtohit.
