7. REVERSING THE DOOR OPENING

– This tumble dryer is intended for NORMAL DOMESTIC
USE ONLY.
– Please note it is not recommended that the dryer be
placed directly next to ovens or cookers, as the
performance of the dryer may be affected.

– We recommend that the appliance is unplugged each time
after use. It should always be disconnected from the
electricity supply if it is to be left unattended for long
periods (i.e. weekends, holidays etc.)
– The rear of the dryer gets quite hot during use, position the
dryer so that the back is not accessible while in operation,
but the sides have a space available to allow air flow.
– It is important to clean fluff from the window of the dryer
and around the door seal after each drying cycle.Failure to
do so could result in water leaking.

attempt to repair the appliance yourself. Repairs carried
out by inexperienced persons may cause serious injury.

plug assembly must only be replaced with a genuine part,
available from the manufacturer or service agent.

First remove the child safety peg from the top of the door by rotating 90… anticlockwise. Now unscrew the door hinges from the machine by

emoving the 4 screws. Do not use a power screwdriver as this may damage the screw threads.

emove the four screws from the opposite side of the door opening. Place these screws in the hinge holes on the other side of the door
opening.
Reverse the door and re apply the hinge screws.

eplace the child safe peg in the top of the, now reversed, door.

pen the door. Undo screw (A) remove
switch strike (B) and replace screw, Remove

crews (C) and latch plate (D). Remove

inge cover screw (E). Close the door.
Open the door. Undo screw (A) remove switch
s
trike (B) and replace screw, Remove screws (C)
a
nd latch plate (D). Remove hinge block screw
(E). Remove door from hinge blocks.
Your dryer is fitted with a reversible door. To change the direction of opening proceed as follows for your type of door.

remove it. Remove two outer

crews (G). Remove door. Fit latch

late (D) with screws (C)

emove hinge screws (F) and hinge (G)
and re fit to opposite side as shown.

everse door and fit to dryer in
closed position. Refit screws (G)

nd hinge cover (F). Open the door.

efit latch plate (D) with screws (C). Remove
screw (H) at top of door and re fit switch strike
(B) as shown. Fit door to hinge blocks and

ecure with screws (E)

6. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
ANY PR
OBLEMS
If you feel the appliance is not drying correctly, please carry out
these quick checks:
–
MIN.(SLO
W) ENERGY SETTING
Please note that this setting is 4 times as long as the
MAX.(FAST) Setting and is approximately 8 hours.
When using this setting, no heat can be felt from the
appliance.
– MAX.(FAST) SETTING
When using this setting, the machine and load may feel
cooler than a conventional tumble dryer. This is due to it’s
energy saving capabilities and is perfectly normal.
– Check that you used the correct heater setting (If
applicable).
– Check that the lint filter has been has been cleaned and the
vent hose is not constricted. A blocked filter or
vent hose will restrict the airflow.
– Check that your dryer is heating - below the door to the right
side
, should f
eel warm to the touch after the first 10-15
minutes of its programme. Failure to heat may indicate the
safety cut-out has operated. To reset, simply press the red
button at the rear of the machine. If it has operated, a sharp
“clic
k” will be heard. This cut-out only operates if the airflow
is se
v
erely restricted so mak
e sure the filter is clean, the air
inlets and outlets at the front and back are not blocked, and
that all other restrictions are removed before re-starting.
– Check that the machine has the correct weight load in the
drum.
If the cut-out contin
ues to oper
ate after chec
king the abo
v
e
points, you should contact your service agent.
If your machine
does not work check the following before calling
a service engineer:
– Check that there is a supply of electricity.
– Check that the door has been properly closed and the
machine is switched on. Press the start button (if fitted)
–
Check the fuse in the moulded plug.
