Appendix D: CopyDisc OptiPrinter Pro Platinum

This section will provide you with information on how to set up and operate your CopyDisc

Platinum OptiPrinter Pro.

There are two versions of the CopyDisc OptiPrinter Pro printer. This is a networked device and

must be operated via a PC and the DiscPilot Networking software.

Note:

Good quality, inkjet printable discs should be used with the CopyDisc OptiPrinter Pro.

Note:

Your CopyDisc OptiPrinter Pro is fitted with a mechanical picker, which enables you to

print right to the centre of full-face printable, inkjet discs.

For full details of the OptiPrinter Pro’s functions, you should refer to the OptiPrinter Pro manual.

Carefully remove your CopyDisc printer from their shipping cartons and verify that all parts are

present. If there are missing or damaged parts contact Verity Systems or an authorised

partner/reseller immediately to correct any miss-packed or missing parts.

 Verity Systems CopyDisc Platinum robot (fitted with printer plate – networked version)

 OptiPrinter Pro inkjet printer

 Power Cables x 2 (one for CopyDisc Platinum and one for OptiPrinter Pro)

 Printer USB Cable (to attach printer to PC if required)

 Serial Connector Cable and Parallel Cable (attached to CopyDisc Platinum)

 Input Basket and Output Spindle

 Black and Colour Ink cartridge

 Quick Start Guide and CD with user manual, printer drive and test image

 Printer Driver CD

 Discus graphics software (not necessary when operating the OptiPrinter Pro via the CopyDisc)

 2 blank CD-Rs
