6. Determine which way the printer needs to move to receive the disc properly.
7. Loosen the retaining screws on the printer plate and make the adjustment (it may help to
mark its current position before moving in case it slips).
8. Use the ā¼ key to select āPrinter to Output Binā. The disc will be taken from the printer.
9. Go back to step 4 to check the alignment.
10. Once the printer plate is in position, tighten the screws on the plate.
Fitting the Ink Cartridges
1. Press the Power key to turn on the printer.
2. Open the top cover and lift the print cartridge latch to the open position (figure E5).
3. Slide the print cartridge out of the cradle (figure E6).
4. Remove the tape from the cartridge (figure E7).
5. Hold the cartridge so that the copper strip is on the bottom rear and slide the cartridge
firmly into the cradle. Push down the cartridge latch until it snaps shut (figure E8).
